Got Your Six K9's provides service dogs to perform tasks and provide companionship for American combat veterans with disabilities, at no cost to the veterans.

 

The estimated cost of each service dog, from birth to placement, is $25,000 as of  Nov of 2021. Some of the expenses include: 

• Purchase of purebred puppy - $1,500-$3,500

• Veterinary care for a year - $200

• Training for a year - $10,000

• One year of food - $540

• Crate x2 - $1,000 crash test rated

• Training vest and identification tags - $100

• Collar & leash - $80.00

• Food and water bowls - $50.00

• Training treats per month - $60.00

• Training Collars - $100

• Various Training Equipment - $450
